Brazil drops on rate worries; Mexico extends gains
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Brazilian stocks dropped sharply Thursday after investors recoiled from the central bank’s indication that it may raise its key interest rate, while Mexican stocks surged to finish with a fifth consecutive advance.
