Dean Foods profit drops, sees organic milk in shorter supply
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) - Dean Foods Co. said Wednesday first-quarter net income fell 51%, marred by rising raw-milk costs and a higher interest expense. The profit decline was less than analyst forecasts and its shares climbed almost 5%.
