Tankan shows large companies’ outlook unchanged
HONG KONG (MarketWatch) — Confidence among large Japanese manufacturers was unchanged in the three months through September, the Bank of Japan’s quarterly tankan survey of business conditions showed Monday, beating expectations for a decline in outlook and sending the yen higher against the U.S. dollar.
